City Developments Limited (CDL) is a Singapore-listed international real estate company with a global presence spanning 97 locations in 26 countries. One of Singapore’s largest companies by market capitalisation had entered a bid with joint-venture partner Hong Leong Group in an 80:20 ownership.

We’ve successfully acquired Amber Park, a freehold development with a land size of 213,675 sqft and at the purchase price of $906.7 million. It works out to be $1,515 psf ppr based on the existing 2.8 plot ratio according to URA Master Plan 2014.

Most of the larger sites around Amber road have been sold via collective sale and redeveloped over the years. The Opus Condo could be one of the last en-bloc site with a land size more than 200,000 square foot in district 15.

Subject to approval, we will be redeveloping this plot of land into four towers of 25-storey luxurious residence, and almost 800 homes with many of them commanding a sea view.

Fortuitously, CDL was the original developer of the former development in the 1980s and we’re extremely honoured to secure the site back for redevelopment into yet another masterpiece.
